Half square triangles are so versatile and sometimes so finicky! We'll explore 10 different ways to make half square triangles, including ways to size them up or down to suit any project. We'll also explore construction techniques as well as quilt designs using HSTs.

Christine’s Chatter
This time of year, I just can’t get enough of the gorgeous fall colors. I have been sorting through patterns and thinking about a fall quilt.
Thank you to everyone who attended our October Zoom meeting with Julia McLeod as she showed her fabulous non-cotton quilts. The more speakers we have, the more our knowledge of the quilting world expands. I have a large box of silks and I was very inspired to have the courage to try something new.
We will have an in-person December meeting and will celebrate the season and each other. Carol Schwartz and Rae Bradley are planning a festive evening for us. Please send $10 to Carol to make your reservation. Also, please note that our meeting will take place on the second Tuesday, December 13th, instead of the 3rd Tuesday!
January brings us another Brown Bag Hustle. In case you missed the August event, here’s your chance to bring your cast offs. I know I have more to contribute, too.
Wishing you the best as you prepare for this busy time of year!

New Member? You’re Invited!
We are planning a New Member get together with the Village Quilters board members on February 7, 2023 at 5:00pm. We have had several quilters join our guild since the beginning of Covid, but due to pandemic restrictions we have not been able to have regular in person meetings and have not been able to meet and get to know our new members as we would like. We also want to give our newer members an opportunity to get to know our guild a little better. We will be sending out an invitation soon to all of the newer members with more details about the event.
