Quilt Show News for June 2015
/Can You Climb a Ladder? We Need You!
The quilt show committee has been hard at work since last year, and now it's time for everyone to get involved. The first big event is Hanging Day—the Thursday before the show when we hang all the quilts.
I'm looking for volunteers who are able to climb a ladder to hang quilts. To volunteer you must be
- comfortable climbing 1-3 steps up a ladder
- able to hold a small amount (a few pounds) of weight over your head
- willing to volunteer on Hanging Day (October 1)
If this is you, please sign up at the June meeting or contact Margaret Martin (webmaster@villagequilters.org).
The more ladder teams we have, the quicker we will hang the show!
Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are available. Each member is expected to sell $25 worth of tickets. If you have not picked up yours yet, they will be available at our June meeting. If you are unable to pick them up, you can also send a check for $25 to DeAnna Elliott and they will be mailed to you. See the roster for the mailing address.
And of course, additional tickets are available!
