My lecture is a power point presentation where I explain step-by-step how to use and understand a high quality color wheel. The wheel I use is one I consider to be the best one on the market & certainly the best one for beginners & students. Most people don't know there are two color systems-which leads to confusion for people who have purchased color tools or books from multiple sources.
During my lecture, I explain the difference between the two color systems and how to use the tools from one color system to understand the tools of the other color system. There's so many books and tools on the market, it can be overwhelming to many quilters, so after students learn and understand that one perfect color wheel, using additional tools is not so confusing.
My lecture includes a very colorful trunk show featuring quilts that correspond to each different color combination as discussed in the power point presentation.
