Annette has won many local and national awards, including the Best Wall Quilt Purchase Award at the American Quilter’s Society’s national show in Paducah, KY in 2009 with her quilt Mountain Chapel. That quilt is now part of the permanent collection of the National Quilt Museum in Paducah. It was also featured on the cover of the Summer 2022 issue of Art Quilting Studio!

Annette’s art quilt tops feature visual depth that can be seen in the myriads of fabrics she chooses which create highlights and shadows in layers and layers of detail. One talent that sets her apart from other quilters is her addition of textile paint to her pictorial art quilts. She is the epitome of artistic expression!
