Village Quilters is currently accepting new members. Registering online is quick and easy, but you can also register at a meeting or by mail.

Information for New Members

Meetings:Grace United Methodist Church (244 East Center Avenue) in Lake Bluff, Illinois (enter through the parking lot doors)
Date: Always on the third Tuesday of the month
Time: 6:30pm social time, 7:00pm meeting followed by program

Dues: Dues are $50 per year ($25 for active military members or spouse). Dues are reduced after November 1.

Workshops: Most workshops are held on the Wednesday following the regular Tuesday guild meeting.

Quilt Show: Village Quilters holds a two-day quilt show featuring quilts made by our members. The large show displays around 250 beautiful quilts and includes a silent auction, boutique items, merchant mall, quilt appraisals and quilting demonstrations. The show is held in odd-numbered years. The membership creates a quilt to be raffled during the show; members are encouraged to contribute to the quilt and are expected to purchase $25 of raffle tickets.

Guests and new members are always welcome. Currently, a guest may attend a meeting free of charge. There is a limit of 3 free meetings.

Membership forms are available online.

Workshops

Unless otherwise noted: Members of Village Quilters have priority seating at all workshops until two months before the workshop date. Open enrollment begins two months before the workshop date. At that time, any interested person may sign up for the workshop.

Register online, at a guild meeting, or download the workshop registration form to register by mail. Registration is complete when payment is received.
