Village Quilters is currently accepting new members. Online registration for new members is quick and easy, but you can also register at a meeting or by mail.
Our membership year officially begins on May 1. Dues are discounted starting November 1. Memberships expire on April 30.
Membership renewal period: April 1 to July 1.
Friendly reminder about renewals: If your dues are not paid by July 1, your membership with Village Quilters of Lake Bluff/Lake Forest will unfortunately lapse. This means you’ll miss out on perks like our monthly newsletter and early registration to workshops.
But don’t worry—you can easily rejoin by registering as a new member. We’d love to have you back!

Information for New Members
Meetings: Grace United Methodist Church (244 East Center Avenue) in Lake Bluff, Illinois (enter through the parking lot doors)
Date: Always on the third Tuesday of the month
Time: 6:30 pm social time, 7:00pm meeting, followed by program
Dues: Dues are $50 per year. Active military members (or spouse) may join for $25 per year. If you are younger than 18 years old, you may join as a Junior Member for $25. Dues are reduced after November 1.
Workshops: Most workshops are held on the Wednesday following the regular Tuesday guild meeting.
Quilt Show: Village Quilters holds a two-day quilt show featuring quilts made by our members. The large show displays around 250 beautiful quilts and includes a silent auction, boutique items, merchant mall, quilt appraisals and quilting demonstrations. The show is held in odd-numbered years. The membership creates a quilt to be raffled during the show; members are encouraged to contribute to the quilt and are expected to purchase $25 of raffle tickets.
